This Afrocentric angel is sewn with metallic fabric, with Gold embellishments.
A dazzling black angel is perfect for home decor as a table centerpiece, mantle art, Kwanzaa, and festive holiday tree topper. She is 15 inches tall from the tip of her head wrap to the hem. This is a cloth doll made into a paper mache base. The cone shape is 2.5 wide at the base. Her wings are sewn with African gold fabric and Pellon. The head wrap can't be removed, it is sewn not glued in place. The wire wing is sewn and finished with a bow-wired ribbon at the bottom of her wing. Around each part of this doll, you will find unique details. Her face and hands are made with brown Kona quilting cotton. The face is freehand and finished in my signature style. I do not create duplicates, although some fabric or trim accents may be repeated in other angels. This angel is signed on the cone bottom. A gold heart is sewn into her left sleeve, from my heart to yours. This Angel doll can be a housewarming gift, a gift for grandma, Nana, a sentimental gift to a loved one, or an angel collector. She will be placed in a plastic bag and wrapped in tissue paper for storage. A keepsake for years to come. This is not a toy
